Sukie the rabbit's desexing

If you are not planning to breed from your pet, desexing is recommended. It insures a calm temperament and reduces the likelihood of some serious diseases. Male rabbits are usually desexed from 4-6 months of age and since Sukie is 15 weeks old it was the perfect time to come visit us at the clinic.

Sukie and his mum arrived at their appointment in the morning and had a consultation and Dr Alex explained the procedure. Sukie then stayed with us for the morning before his operation. He did extrememly well throughout the surgery and with Nurse Beccy monitoring him during and after his anesthetic Sukie recovered like a champion.
