Poor little Scout first arrived at the clinic with a history of vomiting and a sore tummy. After some initial symptomatic care, Scout seemed to show no improvement and it didn't take long for the cause of the problem to be discovered.
Scout had a history of eating things she shouldn't and had even had surgery previously to remove a toy she once thought would make a tasty snack! After some x-rays and ultrasounds were performed, it was quite obvious little Scout had something stuck in her digestive tract and by the late afternoon Scout was in surgery!
Within minutes the offending object was found; a large chunk of rubber! After the rubber was removed, Scout was transferred to a 24 hour facility for a few days of ongoing care.
We are happy to report that Scout returned to the clinic 10 days later to have her staples removed and she is going well!
